It’s that time again! Time to launch a new book into the world and time to hit the road and try to get y’all to check this new book out!
What you are seeing here is the culmination of months of work to organize a truly epic road trip, hitting up as many book stores as I can, and I am firmly convinced I will return from the end of this as a collapsed bowl of Jello, but also I AM VERY HYPED TO GO TO SO MANY BOOKSTORES!!!!
The above stops are going to be me dropping in to the stores whenever traffic gets me there, signing stock, and leaving behind swag packs for the store, making it so that you can just stroll in whenever you like and buy a copy from your favorite local indie bookstore! You can also absolutely (please!) contact them and have them reserve you one I can personally sign.

On Patreon
As many of you know, I’m writing a novel one chapter a week on Patreon. The novel is a YA horror (more creepy than scary) about toxic friendships. It also have a heavy social media theme; one of the girls is an influencer, and one of the major questions throughout the book is: what is real and what is not online?
To that end, I’m thrilled to say I’ve partnered with author and graphic designed Jess Khoury to make some images that will allow you, the reader, to decide for yourself. For example…
This is an early mock-up of my social media influencer girl, BUT there are also not one, not two, but THREE clues about what’s really happening in the image. This is exactly what I was hoping to do for this story—you get to read what the main characters think they see on the screen, but then ALSO get to see what they saw, and decide if their interpretation is correct!
I’m thrilled to have a handful of these images all perfected by Jess, and I’ll be rolling them out with chapters as I go. This could never have happened without the support of Patreons. It took two months of Patreon income to get the first set of images ready, and I’m hoping to do at least another set to go with it. This is the kind of creative thinking and new formats that I was hoping to be able to do with Patreon, and I’m so grateful to everyone there for helping this become reality!
You can read every single chapter to date over on Patreon right now, with tiers starting as low as $2 a month. You can also read the first ten chapters for free on Amazon. (But know that no images can be uploaded there, so it’s missing an element.)
Remember! If you’re a reader, I have tiers for you to just get chapters and updates on the book (and you’ll also get mailed swag and goodies and the full ebook at completion). I also have tiers for writers, where you can select to get in-depth writing and publishing posts every month, or go higher and get critique and coaching services.
