String Theory & Colors of Joy
As you know, I recently started knitting and nalbonding (and crochet, see below!) and doing all sorts of things with yarn! (Shout out to
for being the most patient mentor!) So imagine my utter delight and joy when Caitlin from String Theory Colorwork reached out with an idea to dye a batch of yarn featuring Full Speed to a Crash Landing colors!
I am SO STINKING EXCITED to try knitting something in this new, book-specific yarn—and if you love it as much as I do, you can grab your own skein in a variety of different weights here! It’s named “Delayed Deceleration” (get it? It’s a play on “Full Speed”!) and I think it’s going to knit up gorgeously! Plus, be sure to check out the notions and other yarns in the shop!
I’m still debating on what I’m going to knit up with it, but I am leaning heavily toward this pattern. What do you think? Any suggestions?
The Next Adventure
Right now, I’m working toward the next adventure—both literally and literarily (say that three times fast). I promise to come back with news on the book side and pics on the adventure side, but for now, let me give you a not-so-subtle hint about one of the places I’m going:
I made him! All by myself (and a half-dozen video tutorials and a step-by-step instruction haha). What should I name this little guy?
