Pre-Order Giveaway, Live Events, & New Book Announcements!
I'm seriously in love with the new pre-order gift, ngl, and holy cow, more books?!
Next month, the last book in the Chaotic Orbits series releases!
It is WILD to me that this trilogy is almost done, and that my chaos girl is all grown up and off saving the world!
In Last Chance to Save the World, you can expect:
🚀 There’s only one bunk in the space ship (but is Rian too dense to use this?)
🚀 Another throwback to the Across the Universe world (especially those fans of The Body Electric)!
🚀 Ada doing everything right in front of everyone and no one even realizes it because she’s really that good
🚀 Elon Musk, I mean Strom Fetor, being an absolute tool endlessly mocked
🚀 A last footnote that will leave you screaming!
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE
As y’all know, I adore my local indie bookstore, Malaprops, located in beautiful Asheville (which is still recovering from Hurricae Helene). So, I worked with an amazing artist, Sarah Epperson, to offer a really fun giveaway to the first 100 people who order the book from Malaprops (which ships worldwide!).
This sticker is absolutely perfect. I mean, it talks about outerspace AND mocks billionaires and capitalism?! PERFECT. When I reached out to Sarah to see if we could collaborate, I also loved her dedication to shopping local and supporting communities. Go check out her other awesome artwork!
To get a FREE sticker, just be among the first 100 people to order Last Chance to Save the World from Malaprops by launch day! There’s nothing else you need to do—just place the order, and I’ll stick it in your book when I go up to sign copies. And remember, you don’t have to be local—Malaprops ships everywhere. AND they have ALL my books, and you can order them and get them all signed by me at no extra cost!
As a friendly reminder, I appreciate you getting the book from anywhere, but if you buy from a local indie or get a copy at your local library, you support community in an amazing way. <3
NEW BOOK ANNOUNCEMENT!
I am so ridiculously over the moon to announce that I have more books coming with my beloved Sara Raasch and the Dream Team over at Sourcebooks Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THIS TIME WE ARE GOING TO SCOTLAND!!!!!!!!!!!
This book has everything I love: Scotland, history, Scotland, fae legends and folklore, Scotland, enemies to lovers romance, Scotland, spys and treachery and secret plots, and Scotland!!!!
I adore working with Sara and everyone at Sourcebooks, and when I tell you that we have BIG BIG BIG plans for this book, please know that HOLY CRAP THESE PLANS ARE BIG. Like, first time in my career this is happening and so huge I’m gobsmacked planned. Like, beyond my biggest dreams planned.
(Oh, and also? I’ve seen the cover. And it’s going to blow your mind.)
More will be coming on this book! I can’t tell you much, but I can say that it centers on Mary Queen of Scots, an Elizabethan spy, and a multi-world plot with the fae hidden in Scotland. And also, as per usual Beth Revis books, we blow some shit up. (The micro-niche of people who love history and also explosions might just know how historical accurate the gunpowder that blows in this book actually is ;)

New Book: Nonfiction Essays on Writing, Resilience, and the Creative Life
As you know, my area was impacted heavily by Hurricane Helene, and now, months later, we are still feeling many of the effects of the devastation in our community. So when Nora Shalaway Carpenter asked if I’d like to contribute an essay to this collection and that 100% of all profits are going to charities I know and care about, I leapt at the chance.
From the press release:
Spinning Toward the Sun: Essays on Writing, Resilience, and the Creative Life is a new guidebook for writers that blends inspiration, insight, and practical advice from an array of nationally-acclaimed and diverse authors. Part craft manual and part life companion, Spinning is a heartfelt reflection on writing, resilience, and the power of community in the face of adversity. Contributors share personal stories and advice, offering both inspiration and hands-on guidance to fellow creatives and anyone dealing with tough times.
But Spinning Toward the Sun is more than a collection of essays—it is a call to action. 100% of the proceeds from every book will go to the recovery of Hurricane Helene.
Helene struck months ago, but the work to rebuild Asheville and its surrounding areas is still just beginning. All proceeds from Spinning will be evenly split between Beloved Asheville and World Central Kitchen, two key organizations dedicated to both long-term community rebuilding and immediate support for frontline workers and residents in the aftermath of Helene. In short, every purchase of Spinning will help provide clean water, food, and financial support for clearing debris, restoring homes, opening schools, and revitalizing the community.

Get A World Without You at a special price
A World Without You is available now for a very limited time as a Kindle ebook deal! This is a deal arranged by Amazon, so I have no idea how long it will last—if you’d like to grab a book for the price of a coffee, do it now!
A World Without You is about Bo, a boy who is at an X-Men like academy for kids with super powers. Except maybe he’s in a mental institution and none of this is real. The story touches on mental health and family, and is my most personal book to date.
For reasons that will become clear when you read the post, a dear member of the KidLit community is in dire need of help, but cannot reveal who she is. I wanted to post about this here because I do know who this author is, and I can verify the legitimacy of this fundraiser and the need for her to get help to get out of a violent domestic abuse situation. If you can help, please do so—even if it’s just to share the fundraiser with others.
I know from personal experience how deeply needed GoFundMe’s can be—not just for the finances, but the hope that it gives you that others care about you in your darkest time. <3
What’s Happening on Patreon
Over on Patreon, a brand new serialized story has launched! Global Quest is a fun, adventurous romp all over the world as Ellery Young chases down her belated grandfather’s clues to an inherited treasure that only one person can win. The chase is on—and this month, Ellery gets her first clue…
And so do you!
All Patreons recieved the same clue Ellery got for her first mystery, as well as time to try to figure it out before Ellery does. In March, I’ll be revealing chapters of how Ellery solves the clue (and readers can see if they were right) as well as mailing out the NEXT clue to Patreons. (Which has tiers that start out at just $2!)
Additionally, for the writer tiers, I’ve got a special new video series that will examine the steps on curating an idea that sells, writing the book, and ultimately revise and submit it. This is an ambitious project, with a video + worksheet each month (as well as all the normally scheduled writer’s posts!)
Lesson 1 is available now, and discusses how to hone in your idea and develop a concept that will sell. All members of the writer’s tiers have access to all archives as well!
