Flash Sale & Cover Sneak Peek!
Sorry for two emails in one week, but I didn’t want you to miss this!
Friends, I’ll get straight to the point—I try to only ever send you one email a month, but when I sent my newsletter earlier this week, I didn’t know there was going to be a sale that could get you a great deal, a sale that will only last a few days, and that Sourcebooks would make a graphic that gave you the teeniest sneak peek at the cover!
To get the discount, all you need to do is go here and pre-order the book! Use code PREORDER25 at checkout, and bam, discount!
Preorders are so vital to a book; they can make or break a marketing plan, so I very much appreciate any preorders! And to thank you for preordering, let me just add… save those receipts. 😉 You’ll want them for some extra goodies later…
Now, we don’t have a final cover to show off yet, but we do have a very fancy placeholder cover until the final design is ready. And I’ll just say this: I’ve seen an early mock-up of the final cover and it very well may be my favorite of all book covers I’ve ever had. You can get a hint at how beautiful it will be based on the font treatment alone:
I…I just… I am utterly gobsmacked by how gorgeous this cover is. The moons in the title! The swoops! And the secret stuff that I can’t talk about that will be on the final cover that are so pretty!!!!
Anyway, obviously, you’re gonna want this book. And just in case I need to convince you a little more…
✨ Enemies to lovers!
✨ Historical fantasy!
✨ Angst in a Christkindlmarkt!
✨ Magic!
✨ Plot twist after plot twist!
✨ A whip-smart heroine who doesn’t know the meaning of tact!
✨ A secretive hero with rippling pectorals!
✨ A villain who will make you cringe, but you won’t be able to look away!
✨ …that bath scene…
Seriously, guys, this book is so much fun! It’s set in Trier, an old German city built on the bones of the Roman Empire built on the bones of the Celts. We blended real history with magical witchcraft and the romance…the romance. Whew. It’s the swooniest book I’ve ever had a part in creating. But you know I love the action, too, and the magic, and the elaborate heist plot, and, and, and…
Again, save those receipts! ;)
What do you hope to see in a preorder campaign? Just…you know. Asking. For science ;)
