The saddest thing about the Galactic Starcruiser closing down is the “someday” planning has been taken away. It was something we’d hoped to get to once it had been in operation for a while. I’m really hoping they manage to use the space for something in the future because I was hoping to go to that exact space where the initials were carved. And I’m sad that the people who really poured themselves into the project must feel like failures on some level. Maybe the deck was always stacked against the Halcyon, I don’t know. But the possibility of going being taken away makes me sad.

For sure. It felt like something that would last for ages, and it truly felt like "one day" would happen. I knew it would take some saving, but...sad that it's not going to happen at all.

I’m so glad that you’ve been able to go to these special Star Wars areas. I wish you the best I on your current projects. I look forward to reading everything as soon as I’m able to.

I totally agree that Star Wars is about family - in many ways. So cool that you got to visit the setting of your novel(s). I actually visited Trier last year! I have a friend that lives there, and got to see all the sights. I'm thinking of including it as a location in some of my upcoming book! Hopefully wherever I venture this summer will indeed be magical.

Wasn't Trier lovely? The history of that city was mind-boggling to me, and I really want to go back again soon!
